In Brief: The following article outlines how to add your tour calendar and a specific tour's calendar to your website by adding a few pieces of code into your website.

STEP 1: Code for your  Tour Calendar

  1. Login to EzTix.
  2. Click on Global Event Management.
  3. In the menu bar on the left, click on Calendar.
  4. Select all appropriate options and select "Generate" to produce the codes. 
  5. Copy the code listed in the top section.  
  6. Paste the code between your site's <head> and </head> tags.  There are specific instructions on the page which may be important to your use of javascript.
  7. Copy the second section of code.
  8. Paste it anywhere you'd like a button or link to launch your calendar.  Feel free to change the "Buy Ticket" text, or to insert an image using <img>.
  9. Test your calendar.


STEP 2:  Code for your Templates

NOTE:  Each template has it's own code.  The link will launch the sales process for that specific tour, so repeat the following process for each of your templates if you have individual or specific webpages on your site for the respective tours. 

  1. Click on Global Event Management
  2. In the left hand menu bar, click Sales Integration.
  3. Select all appropriate options and select "Generate" to produce the codes. 
  4. (OPTIONAL. Skip this step if you pasted the <head> code during the calendar process.>  Paste the code between your site's <head> and </head> tags.  There are specific instructions on the page which may be important to your use of javascript.
  5. Copy the second section of code. I.e.
  6. Paste it anywhere you'd like a button or link to launch your sales process.  Feel free to change the "Buy Ticket" text, or to insert an image using <img>.
  7. Test your sales links.
