The Sales Info Tab is essential for our EzTix support centre as it allows our team to understand your experiences in clear terms, and allows us to answer questions your guests may have about your tours in real time. The Sales Info tab also outlines the crucial information as it relates to escalations by template; Date Exchange Requests, Refund Requests, Oversell and Late Sale Requests


STEP 1: Select  Templates tab on the top part of your screen. 

STEP 2:  Click "Edit Template" next to the experience you wish to add/edit sales info for


STEP 3:  Select the Sales Info tab on the left hand side of the screen. 

Scroll down to the "OVERSELL CAPACITY" section:

Oversell Requests often come in to add an extra guest or two beyond an experience's capacity. An oversell can only be handled by a support agent, not through your regular sales channels and if allowed, will not be done after the sales cutoff time, or as a late sale! 

Select the number from the dropdown menu that you can accommodate if an "oversell request" comes in. 

NOTE: The oversell capacity number reflects the maximum capacity of an experience. If your tour is typically set to accommodate 14 guests, and your oversell capacity is 16, then you are allowing EzTix Customer Support Agents to oversell your tour by 2.


Overselling tickets can only take place under the following circumstances: 

  1. The call centre agent is adding guests to an existing booking (i.e. joining their family/friends).

  2. The call centre agent is adding a group to a tour and the group size exceeds the ticket limit but falls within the oversell limit.

  3. The sales cutoff time has not passed, or sales are permitted past the sales cutoff time. 

       4. All rules can be overwritten if the agent receives permission directly from a Partner.
