ABOUT OFFLINE BOOKINGS

Offline bookings are used to track bookings that are made through 3rd party booking partners such as Viator, Travel Agents, Expedia or any other source outside the EzTix system. Add these purchases into EzTix to track the guest and sales associated with that partner. An offline booking is another way of saying that the booking funds have been collected by a third party. 


HOW TO RECOGNIZE AN OFFLINE BOOKING

Search the BOOKINGS tab for a particular booking. Clicking on the booking itself will reveal if it is OFFLINE in the right hand corner of the popup.

HANDLING OFFLINE BOOKINGS

Offline bookings must be dealt with by Partners directly and are not refunded/amended by EzTix Call Centre Agents. We cannot proceed with refund requests/exchange requests without the a Partner's specific permission. The escalation policy in other words does not apply to offline bookings. 


HOW TO REFUND (DELETE) AN OFFLINE BOOKING


STEP 1: Locate the booking using the steps listed above to find a tour and enter the booking view. You can also find a booking in the My Booking tab in the OCP.

STEP 2: Locate the booking, click on the booking and Click  Refund

STEP 3: Confirm if you’d like to select some or all tickets on the order.

STEP 4: Click confirm and your booking will be "refunded". 


NOTE: As it is an offline booking and the money was collected by the third party, there are no financial implications of refunds made to offline bookings through EzTix.
