In Brief: The following article will outline how to change the default Reply To Email Address and From Name on messages sent to your guests by your EzTix Account by configuring these details in Global Event Management > Notifications.


ABOUT THIS FEATURE

Emails sent to your guests (Confirmation Emails, Canned Responses etc) carry a default reply to address (bookings@eztix.com) and From name (EzTix Event Ticketing).  In many cases, you may want to adjust these in order to better accommodate your preferred method of customer service and for clarity.

  • The "Reply To" address will be automatically filled in on a user's email app when they hit "reply" to one of your email messages.
  • The "From Name" is the moniker shown to a user in their email app as the person or organization who sent the email.


HOW TO CUSTOMIZE

STEP 1:

Login to EzTix at login.eztix.com


STEP 2:

Click on Global Event Management


STEP 3:

In the left hand menu, click on the "Notifications" tab


STEP 4:

The final data section shows the From Name and Reply To Address fields.  Add the details needed to these fields and click SAVE.


STEP 5:

Your messages will now reflect the changes you have made (if any) to the From Name and Reply To Address sections.


FAQ


Can I set up more email addresses to CC?

Unfortunately, you cannot enforce a CC email address. You can create an email group in your email platform that automatically sends a copy to anyone you wish. You would use group the email address as the reply-to email address and then add your various emails addresses to the group. This is an option available on most templates.
