ISSUE

When attempting to login to the EzKiosk App on a POS unit the App closes before you are able to enter your credentials.


RESOLUTION

As outlined in the solution: Troubleshooting with the EzTix Scanner under the App Keeps Crashing? Section- like the scanner, the kiosk requires a version update. Updates typically auto-update, however in this scenario a manual update is required to resolve the issue. To manually update the App please follow these steps:


  • Go into the DO NOT USE folder on the phone and find the Safari App
  • Type this URL: https://www.eztix.co/backend.php/app-distribution/1 into the browser
  • Click on Download/Update App. 
  • The newest version of the App is 2.3.12
  • The EzScanner will preform a quick update after which you can attempt to login to the App again.
